We love getting out from behind the worktable and meeting our community in person. Below you'll find upcoming Scattered Words® vendor events, book festivals, markets, and pop-ups.

This page is updated regularly as new events are confirmed, so check back often. Our in-person events are one of the only places to shop Scattered Words® jewelry outside of placing a custom order, and we almost always create a small, curated collection especially for each event. That means every market, festival, and pop-up is a little different, with pieces chosen or created to reflect the mood, theme, and community of the event itself.

Bard's Faire Midsummer Market

Dates: Saturday, August 15th – Sunday, August 16, 2026

Admission: Ticketed (Shakespeare performance) Market - Free

Join us at Bard's Faire Midsummer Market, a magical evening vendor market set against the backdrop of a live Shakespeare performance at the historic Oaklands Mansion. Scattered Words® will be there with handcrafted literary jewelry and word-inspired pieces — perfectly at home among the bards, books, and candlelight.

Nightly Schedule:

5:30 PM – Gates open / Guest shopping begins
7:00 PM – Shakespeare performance begins
8:00 – 8:30 PM – Intermission (peak shopping time!)
Post-show – Shopping!
10:00 PM – You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here!

Poe Fest International 2026

Dates: Friday, October 2 – Sunday, October 4, 2026

Join us at the International Edgar Allan Poe Festival & Awards, held in the shadow of the historic Edgar Allan Poe House in Baltimore. The festival celebrates Poe's life and legacy through books, art, music, poetry, performances, vendors, and more.

The Bookery Fair 2.0

Date: Saturday, October 10, 2026

Location: Greenway Park & Pavilion, Cleveland, TN

We're excited to join The Bookery Fair 2.0 for a day celebrating books, indie authors, local makers, and the book-loving community.

Scattered Words® will be bringing handcrafted literary jewelry, bookish goods, and meaningful word pieces made from vintage dictionaries and written works. Come say hello, browse the collection, and find a word to carry with you.

Southern Festival of Books

Dates: Saturday, October 17 – Sunday, October 18, 2026

Location: Bicentennial Mall, Tennessee State Museum, and Tennessee State Library and Archives, downtown Nashville, TN

The Southern Festival of Books: A Celebration of the Written Word is among the oldest literary festivals in the country, annually welcoming hundreds of authors and thousands of visitors to downtown Nashville each October. The Festival is free and includes performance stages, food trucks, and loads of publishers and booksellers.

Scattered Words® is honored to be part of this beloved celebration of literature and the written word. Come find us among the authors, booksellers, and fellow word lovers in the heart of Nashville.

The Christmas Sampler
